Serkan Sevim

CEO, Medianova

Serkan Sevim, born in 1973 in Istanbul, is a Turkish entrepreneur and technology expert. He graduated from Boğaziçi University with a degree in Physics and later obtained a Master's in Management Information Systems from the University of Baltimore. In 1999, Sevim co-founded Mezun.com in the U.S., which was recognized as the Fastest Growing Private Firm in Baltimore in 2002. He was also named a finalist for Ernst & Young's "Entrepreneur of the Year" in Maryland. 

After returning to Turkey in 2006, Sevim launched two new ventures: 444cicek.com and Medianova. He successfully exited Mezun.com in 2010 and 444cicek.com in 2011. Currently, he leads Medianova, a top CDN & Cloud Security company renowned for its extensive network with over 50 Points of Presence (PoPs) in 21 countries. Medianova is acknowledged as a pioneering cloud company that combines cloud security with speed in its market. 

In addition to his entrepreneurial activities, Sevim has been actively involved in various organizations. He served as the President of the Young Executives and Business People Association (GYIAD) from 2015 to 2017. He was also a Board Member of TÜSİAD and led the Digital Turkey initiative between 2019 and 2022. Presently, he is the Vice Chairman of the DEIK Digital Technologies Business Council, working to develop Turkish technology companies.
