With 30 years of experience, he is a leading expert in fiber optic networks, data center interconnectivity, and telecom infrastructure. George played a pivotal role in developing Balkan Gate, the largest neutral data center in Northern Greece and a key hub for international connectivity in Southeastern Europe. He has been instrumental in designing high-capacity fiber networks that enable low-latency, high-speed data transmission across borders, positioning Balkan Gate as a strategic gateway for global carriers, cloud providers, and CDNs. His expertise continues to drive innovation and foster digital transformation in the telecom and data center sectors. George holds an MSc in Civil Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
